Why Canada?

Part-time & Post-study Work visa

Rights to Work International graduate/post-graduate students are allowed to work part-time (up to 20hrs/week) while studying in Canada. Post-Study Stay Back Upon graduation, you are able to apply for a stay back to freely live and work in Canada. Your stay back will depend on the length of time of your study, with a maximum of 3 years.

Average expenses in Canada

Canadian tuition and cost of living is typically lower than other parts of the world for studying abroad.

Typical price range for Canadian institutions:

Undergrad: CAD $13,000-$20,000

Post-grad/Master’s: CAD $18,000-$26,000

Doctoral: CAD $7,000-$20,000

Accommodation:

On-campus housing: CAD $8,000-$10,000/annually

Apartment share: CAD $400-$700/monthly

Rights to Work

International graduate/post-graduate students are allowed to work part-time (up to 20hrs/week) while studying in Canada.

After graduating, there are more options to live and work, including up to a 3 year stay-back (see Post-Study Work Visa for more detailed information).

Canada’s Intakes

  • The intake happens mostly in the month of September. January is also a perfect time to enroll in case you missed the September intake.

We recommend applications to be submitted at least 3 months prior to the start date to avoid last minute hassles.

12th/Equivalent with 50-55% (Percentage requirements may vary based on institutions)

IELTS 6.0 (Min 5.5), TOEFL: 79

Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree & Honours Bachelor Degree

12th/Equivalent with 60% (Percentage requirements may vary based on institutions)

IELTS 6.0 (Min 5.5), TOEFL: 79

Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma & Master’s Degrees

Minimum 12th + 3 Year Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree with 55% (Master’s Degree holders can apply as a specialization option)

IELTS 6.0 (Min 5.5), TOEFL: 88

Master’s By Research

Bachelor/Master degree in relevant field

Doctoral Programs

Students must submit their Master’s Course projects report copy & research topics to the university. But seek individual requirements based on your institution of choice.
