Duration:

• Bachelors- 3 to 4 years
• Masters – Mostly  1 year

Eligibility:

• Under Graduate:

• 65%  for humanities in 12^th
• 70-80% for commerce , science , engineering  in std 12^th or diploma
• 2^nd class also considered if any additional qualification. Foundation course required for students below 50%.

• Post Graduate:

• 60%  and above
• Some universities accept 50%and above first degree GMAT scores between 600-700
• Some universities ask 2-4 years experience for management courses.

English Language Requirements:

• IELTS - 6.5 to 7 for Masters and 6.0 to 6.5 for Bachelors
• TOEFL-  90 (Internet Based Test)for Masters and 80(Internet Based Test)  for Bachelors
• Exemption is possible if student has scored above60 to 70% in English language in the 10th and 12th (English Medium)&if medium  throughout  school was English

Cost :

• Average  of  7000- 11000 pounds per year for UG study
• 9000- 15000 for PG

Hours of Study:

15 hours per week

Length Of Visa:

Duration of study + 4 months (for job search and full time work)

Working   Whilst of Student:

 20 hours a week during term time and full time during vacation.

Students can earn £ 5- £ 7 per hour ie approx Rs. 30000- 42000 per month on part-time basis

Employment after study

UKBA has introduced Tier 2 work visa (3 years) for international students who graduate from UK University, to take employer sponsorship in registered companies paying a minimum of £ 20,000 per year. This can be extended for another 3 years.

Another visa category Graduate Entrepreneur scheme allows students who have innovative ideas to apply under Entrepreneur visa category with Business plan and sufficient funds.
